Start a project

Pick your board and a name. The zip holds a Rust project on rpi-hal and rpi-kickstart that logs a heartbeat on the UART console, and an sd-card/ folder with the Raspberry Pi boot firmware, config.txt, and the rpi-loader image under the filename your board loads.

The same project comes from cargo generate, which asks the same questions in the terminal:

cargo install cargo-generate
cargo generate --git https://github.com/joeferner/rpi-hal template

With cargo generate, make sd-card fetches what the zip’s sd-card/ folder already contains.
